CEO of SWEA acknowledged for her significant impact on the national climate debate

Charlotte Unger Larson, CEO of The Swedish Wind Energy Association, has been listed as number 13 on a ranking of Sweden’s 101 most influential individuals on environmental issues. It is the highest score among people working in the energy business.

The list also includes members of the European Parliament, politicians, business leaders and journalists. It was published last week by the largest environmental news magazine in Scandinavia, Aktuell Hållbarhet, which compiled the ranking together with its readers and an external expert jury.

Charlotte Unger Larson’s high ranking was announced:

“With vast knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment, The Swedish Wind Energy Association’s CEO shows how wind power can help Sweden to meet a sustainable future. Charlotte has also been a strong driving force behind the political decision on the national climate target of a 100 percent renewable energy system by 2040”.
